The name of this road was Botnlangalon. In the summer of 2022, when I came out of Langisjol, I mistook the road for faxi and took this road to f208. It was a very rough road. I'm happy to know the exact place name. In particular, the road to cross the last river is always beautiful to see. thank you for the video ^^

Try Stórisandur (Between Arnarvatnsheiði and Kjölur). Maybe not considered a road, much rather a trail :)

At the end of the road, where you turn left and drove over the river canyon, did you complete the route passing by Ork shelter and towards F235, it's very close to Langisjor.

Why can't I see a description of this road on your website? Is this from a new trip? For now, I thought that the Hungurfit track is the most demanding. I'm going to visit the Interior in July (modified Nissan Pathfinder, snolker, AT tires) and I'm using your site to plan my route. Great job, bravo !!!

Cool road! for me the road to Krakatindur from Raudafoss was one of the worst!

Yes, I remember Krakatindur was similarly scary :) But Botnlangalón was even slightly worse due to river crossings and gigantic road holes and no cars at all nowhere nearby.
