The Ordinary’s Argeriline is more budget friendly “for me”, paired with Matryxl. I love the combo immediate effects. Additionally, I add a few drops of water bc the HA in the matryxl absorbs the water into the skin. I also add in reservatrol at the same time for optimal results. This really comes down to how much you want to spend and how consistent you are with your regimen. After just 3 months of The Ordinary combo, I and others can visibly see fabulous results. Fabulous!

I’ve been using IQ Natural’s Line Reduction serum for a while now (maybe a year). It has 30% each of both Argireline and Matrixyl 3000, and is around $18 (USD). It ends up being cheaper than buying both the Ordinary serums and has a higher concentration of ingredients. I have to admit, I am just barely starting to develop fine lines, so I can’t provide much of a personal report, but I do appreciate that it’s cheaper and easier than buying two serums.

@@krizp8942 You can use it at night and/or in the morning. Just use it early as a serum step - place it where you’d place any other peptide product. And you don’t have to wait any longer than any other skincare before applying SPF (I usually apply sunscreen 15 minutes after moisturizing)

Thank you for your detailed review! Argiriline ended up giving me little white bumps on my skin that took a long time to go away - so gave up on it. Have been using Snoxin 11 for about a week now - and love the results! They aren’t as dramatic as what i have seen botox can do but for me this is all I need. I have deep lines on my forehead and 11s between my eyes. This makes them less noticeable and smoother! Now just trying to figure out where it fits with my night time tretinoin routine. I'm loving the ordinary argireline matrixyl combo and was going to repurchase but everywhere was out of stock of the argireline bar one website. I could spend extra to get free delivery or it was going to be around £20 including delivery for both products. However boots had the snoxin for £19.99 so it was a no brainer. Got a couple of days left of the ordinary combo but I'm looking forward to trying the snoxin. I will buy the ordinary combo as soon as argireline comes back into stock. Could see me using one in the morning and the other at night. I find applying the argireline from the pipette to my forehead and the corner of my eyes for the first application. I LOVE The Ordinary products! However, Snoxin II changed my skin forever. I went to the doc office yesterday without makeup, just mascara, Snoxin II, Dr. Brandt Triple Antioxidant face cream, and a smile..... Snoxin is incredible. I’ve been using it night and day for the past 6 months, and don’t need Botox anymore. Last time I had some Botox was in June ‘22. I like how my skin looks with the Snoxin and don’t feel the need to get more Botox.

Hi Rob, thanks for the info. Firstly, your new setup looks great! Regarding the discussed subject. To be honest, I am quite happy with TO. It works. It has helped me with the issues I had, and honestly I was surprised how much it helped - my crow feet especially on 1 side of my face and forehead lines on the 1 side of my face (the other side didn’t have lines). Hence, if it works, don’t try to fix it. The price point is good. Whilst I agree the Argireline from TO is watery but I have made it work, no fuss. Also, seems like Snoxin is not available in my location. For the time being I will stick to what works for me 😊 And I use Matrixyl too 😊

I wanted to ask the host what his thoughts are on Palmer’s products. I’ve also found much success in their low cost, high result products. For example, its Night moisture rich cream and Skin Therapy Oil. But, being that I am Black, I’ve always wondered if your analysis considers “melanin rich” individuals with some of the same skin problems you frequently discuss, like hyperpigmentation and sensitive skin. Lastly, I’ve learned to combine ingredients when it makes sense, to simplify my regimen. For example, adding argeriline & matryxl to my night cream, and adding additional HA and adding reservatrol to it. I’ve had great results, with my consistent use. Thoughts?
