Also, I beleive this is one of those cheater/cheater bot combos. Badically you can inject and it turns into a bot or you just get cheats depending on what you inject. You can see at 0:24 He misses the door, something bots don't do. They can walk perfectly so if it misses the door that makes it possible that it could be one ig.

This kind of thing has been happening since the bots were banned. Some bots will appear and be around for a few days and will quickly be banned. There were also non cheating bots that simply take up player slots. These bots were also banned quickly despite not cheating.

Interesting. I theorized something like that was happening from what I observed in lesser-visited corners of the internet, but I hadn't seen it personally at all since the ban wave. In my areas, and even in servers not in my region, all I've witnessed is fair play and no idlers or cheaters. This is really the first one I've encountered with my own eyes.

Stay glued to the steam charts: If the Player-Base randomly spikes, those are mostly bots. If the Player Base randomly gets cut in half, you got a few weeks before they come back.

Seeing this, from the last couple of days I had had a couple of bots join the place. I would say 30% of the games of that had a bot join the game. I dont like that percentage 😥

While a lot of the bots were banned some have slipped through the cracks. Bot hosters have long sense abandoned this game after Valve actually started doing their job and the new ones that do show up are quickly banned a lot of the time, roughly 30 minutes to an hour after an account is created.

1 bot: **appears** Tf2 comunity: "WE ARE SO COOCKED" No matter what bots will exist but they just conform aprox 3% of the playercount now dont worry (that much), now its population is low and controled, the one you encountered is mostly banned by now, and the end of the day there will allways be people that think they got nothing to with their lives other than try to kill a game/game just to desperally bring attention for themselfs, cuz they dont mind if the attention is bad or good, attention is still attention, this guys (the bot hosters) are the definition of "needed of attention"/"attention dependent" so the best way to counter this guys is the next: 1.report their acc's on sight, and their bots too. 2. NEVER talk about them cuz if you do it people will be aware of it and that = attention, and with that they'll mostly make more bots to bring more attention.

This is just sad to the core, seeing a masterpiece of a multiplayer being invaded by bots created by sad individual’s who wants see this beautiful thing be destroyed. All we can hope for is Valve making the right decision because TF2 is their greatest asset to their company let alone the player base.

he had aimed on another target on the bridge. bots prioritize targets by distance, nearest to farthest. I've killed one or two bots the same way: purely lucky timing because somebody else happened to be closer.

@@military_snake S what got used to fighting them by myself in open ground sometimes, I once took out 3 with 3 pipes because they were the technovorg strain of bots who were silent and did not charge their guns, so I withstood a headshot in time to kill 3 of them in open ground, they also did not all fire at me at once I think

Holy viewmilk. No. Cheats, Bot-cheats arent patched. You can still host. The only thing you have to do is just get/make a bot-cheat and just multi-box with it. Change accounts every 4 hours or a day and violla. All valve did was just implement something that just gamebans people on Marked HWID, if the HWID isnt marked in valve's DB, or where they store the banned HWIDs, it takes weeks to ban someone, for cheating/bot-hosting. (They already store your Machine GUID, Mac address, and your SSD/HDD's serial number, incase they want to HWID ban you, this function of steam was known since 2019.) lol, was it worth it? i dont think whining and spreading misinfo to get valve's attention is worth it. Oh, and don't worry, This happened before, back in 2018. Which 2 years later, valve stopped giving a sh-t. It's going to happen again soon anyway. They're not gonna care enough to keep up with TF2, since valve actively hates working on it. Valve's gonna stop caring eventually lmao. And tbh, that doesnt even matter for me. Since i do not host.

@@military_snake They only HWID banned them. That isnt gonna cut it, theres hosters that i know, who make 100s of alt accounts, switch them out every day. They need an actual AC or something like overwatch. Which, valve is too lazy. "Cheaters have been relegated to the shadows" is just wrong lmao. I spoof my HWID, and make a alt. And i rage in casual. I dont get banned between a day, it takes a whole week for me to get banned. Oh, and closet cheaters have been more present. (Atleast in the EU servers.) So no. You cannot get rid of cheaters. Every game has them, HWID ban them, get a invasive AC, who cares. They're gonna cheat.

But its clear that valve does not give any f-cks about the community (E.G the inferno update), they're only doing it to not get bad publicity, and beacuse of the summer update so money. I can assure you theyre gonna drop stuff on TF2 and leave once you guys are "satisfied" enough.
