La sonnambula herself would wake up to hear this gorgeous performance! Around 2:00, your playing is almost hypnotic, making me imagine a sleepwalker walking down a hallway, before becoming much more lively. Uncanny and beautiful. And as always, I love the range of sound you get from double bass; the best example in this piece is the absolutely sublime passage starting around 6:47 and lasting for a minute and a half. From violin-like tones to bass one can feel, this gorgeous melody has it all. Just sublime. Thank you. 😍 🤩
