Nice finds there, love the huge jar with glass lid & the Virol pot & you can never have too many Codds! First time I've watched a bottle digging video for ages, a refreshing change, after a long spell watching more serious vids & docs/ research about you know what, for the future!

I’ve finally found a decent early 1900s tip, there was loads of broken codds everywhere it was so sad but I’m glad I’m finding all older stuff rather then the 50s tat I was digging before. I’ve noticed by your videos and comments you’ve been very similar to me in experience haha. I started off using the historic landfill website which only gave me the registered dumps. I’ve now gone out and found a few gravel pits from old maps which is where all the treasure is haha.

If You ever come down south for some treasure hunting you’d be more and welcome to come digging at my spots. I’m about 45 mins out of London.I plan to get a Thames mudlarkering permit soon as well so that will be fun.
@deanc1563 жыл бұрын
@@unitnippynipz if you new to digging keep that tip to yourself as a lot of London area tips are gone, and will be hammered within days, I dig mainly Essex and east London and it’s hard getting on most of the tips these days
@unitnippynipz3 жыл бұрын
@@deanc156 thanks mate, lucky I live in the country side of London so it’s not too built up around here. My most recent spot is pretty hammered to be fair but as I’ve got deeper it’s got more promising with codds, Hamilton’s (all broken atm) shear tops and poisons. I’ve scouted out 2 other dumps since my new one all producing early stuff so i just gotta get digging haha. I was just being stupid and thought that gravel pits would be more in the mountain areas of U.K. and not right near London haha. Shows how much I know. I’ve found another 5 pits on the old maps that I still need to scout out in the woods. Happy hunting !!!

Nice vid pal, the pipe with the train on is the same as I got from there last week. The Virol is nice too, you're doing well with the jars lately :-) Glad to see you had no cave-ins! Lol
