Bottom drain rodding, Garden Update and water levels.

Just a general garden update from Cat, drain rodding using a Karcher drain and gutter cleaning hose......works a treat.

It gets so cold some winters up this way that the sewers block up with ice and I use a Karcher with hot water you can however buy pipe from most local handyman stores for £15-£20 pound with an Adapter for Karcher Series machines and can get ones with back pressure which force water forward and stronger water backwards which helps push the pipe forward.

Hi Steve, i use a single drain rod with a 4" plunger, pump it up and down like a man possessed creates a vacuum of sorts, pull it out quickly and all the crap follows, a tad cheaper and less fannying around but of course you can't beat playing with man toys!🤓

It worked and Im happy with that, unfortunately a 4" Rod plunger would not negotiate my bends.

@@CATANDEYEKOI It doesn’t need to you are creating suction i only use a single rod and push it in a foot or so then pump like your life depended on it. Just an alternative way to achieve the same results
