Our garden is on a slight slope..we have full clay at 18 inches deep so water soaks down to the clay which acts as a barrier..small stream 2 roads away takes it away...wet in winter but dry in summer

Hi, Hope you don't mind me asking, but how thick are the pond wall foundations?
@PaulsKoipond3 жыл бұрын
Probably about double the width of the wall itself....nice and deep though probably about 18 inches or so
@PaulsKoipond3 жыл бұрын
If you look at my video "massive mistake on koi pond " you can see how thick the front footings are
@Synysterjmz3 жыл бұрын
Cheers for the reply. I'm toying with a similar construction for my own pond. I built a pond at my parents and did a completely solid base, which was a lot of work!
