BOTW: Strange Hand Positions with Combat Techniques

I never really actually paid any attention to what strange things my hands were doing while performing some awkwardly positioned techniques. Decided to record myself and turned out pretty interesting what my hands have to do in order to get some of these techniques done.
Recommend re-watching in x0.75 or x0.50 speed for a closer look.

You can also move the camera with the area where the thumb meets the rest of the hand. It actually works very well.

I love the joycons, really. So much complaining about them being too small but they are the perfect shape for claw gripping

I named my horse " SB Pirate " it means spongebob pirate from the opening the pirate says " I CANT HEAR YOU " so when i go far away it will say " SB Pirate Cant hear you " xD

Claw grip isn’t strange (the one for camera spinning is tho). Besides, did you know you can mount a lynel by hopping > shield-jump(from the side or back)? I discovered this by accident when I tried attacking with shield-surfing. I found that to be very useful for extending combos or for punishing lynels when they stand still.

Nah the pro controller's expensive and not worth it imo Edit: Here I am two months later, and I'm now planning to buy a pro once smash 5 comes out. There are some problems with the joycon buttons I hadn't realized earlier on. They're great, but not perfect. The pro controller doesn't suffer from being flat for one example. New opinion: Buy what suits your needs

Might just be because i'm a veteran that survived the dark Monster Hunter PSP days but i don't see how the Monster Hunter Claw (0:20) is strange
