Instead of getting a light inside, you get a USB Socket. We plug in a flexible USB Powered Light, so when the door is open, we shine the light down into the fridge. Then when we Close the lid, the light shines down on a cutting board we put on top, so we can see what we're doing.

It could be the temp is registering from the floor of the unit instead of near the lid.

We have the same Frig. My only complaint is that its hard to tie down to a tray or in your car. We found that the unit cools very quickly and is very quiet. Another thing that is great about it is that it has two methods of running the unit 12V DC or 110AC. We have the unit in our 2 door JK. Best thing to do is pre cool it down before you leave, pack it let it set over night then transfer it to the back of your jeep. We love it. Make sure that what ever you use to power the unit doesn't have auto shutoff. You may find your stuff spoiled.

That's the info you can't get from their site because it appears they only post 4 and 5 star reviews. That makes me suspect as I've had Rich Solar do that. I wrote a 1-star review and it never got posted to their site.

Thanks for the review. I knew a normal household fridge should not be laid over. I had not even though about that for a portable fridge.

Nice review! Considering this fridge for my van build. Would it be possible to hard wire it to an RV battery instead of using the 12V plug?
@CoddiwompleOverland2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I have mine hard wired.
@Viajero692 жыл бұрын
@@CoddiwompleOverland Nice any tips on doing that? I saw that one guy just plugged in a female adapter to the plug and wired the wires coming off of that. Did you do something different?

Pretty bad video. Horrible editing, several times you referred to heating the refrigerator up, which why would you do that, and you did not give the rating of the portable power station so run time means nothing if we don't know what the rating of the battery pack is.
