Not much adventures just wrapping up school here in a month or so pretty stoked. I’m not sure if we’ve been to that shop. We’ve been through escalate a few times. Hopefully we get into some adventures soon the van is getting a little remodel now.

Why not glue it to a canvas tarp with grommets? Build a breakdown 1/2" pvc pipe frame to attach it to?

They now make it with grommets too. This was an early model

Make sure you buy the panel that has pre punched holes, don't buy the one with adhesive. When that panel heats up the adhesive melts and gets sticky black tar on everything, it's such a mess. Also you can damage the panel by walking on it. If it's upside down facing the concrete

Great point. Mine had the sticky back and it’s always all over the panel and ground I wish I got the one with rivets.

150W out of a nominal 200W is 75% with pretty good direct sunlight is a problem. You need to figure out if it is the panel or the MPPT. Not all mppts are made equal. Some do a very good job of finding Max power point others get stuck at 75%.

You know I’ve tested these panels out on other MPPTs and the most I’ve gotten was 170W so maybe here it is the controller

I don’t feel that way about the LOADS output on a SCC

I like it for an easy basic set up to have the SCC monitor the load output. But yeah its totally not mandatory. I just thought it was odd that it didn't have it built in most SCC's do. What is your ideal set up?

I don’t use the load out there on my mppts so I wouldn’t know what I’m missing

Yes if you get the panels with the adhesive it will work for the roof
