Check the CDI box.,or the CDi voltage regulator rectifier box on it either it has for the control unit that sends the spark to the coil to the spark plug last. I also highly recommend checking out the stator inside of the points cover area on it to guys.

I have a 1999 Honda Fourtrax 300, I just went through the carb thing, & those Amazon carbs are $40 for a reason...oh, I got a few months out of it, but it's just best to rebuild the OEM carb that came on it... it's not difficult, & it's the superior carburetor... by all means, do what you have your heart set on, but I wish I'd just rebuilt the old one to begin with & saved that $40, because I wound up having to rebuild the old one anyway...🖖🏿😎👍🏿

I just picked up a 98 foreman 400 with an extremely bent front rack. spent 2 days trying to straighten it. Good luck with yours, it's a pain😬 cool find you got there, show more as you get it sorted out 👍👍

No. None available. Hammers, pipe wrench, an actual pipe bender didn't work. I ended up cutting out the worst parts. I'm looking for a used complete one in better shape. Once the tubing is bent or crushed it's a bear 😬

Use the compression release lever when using kick start..if sitting on 4 wheeler with right hand reach under gas tank on top of motor flip lever up & then kick start motor its a breeze 🇺🇲👍

Rectifier diode in the wiring that runs up the steering stem will kill the starter motor function. They're like 10 bucks and look like a 2 pin relay. Very small but will leave you puzzled if they go out.

Those are prone for numerous of problems that can cause that no spark issues on them straight up and with y'all about it to. Hopefully it helps y'all out on those four wheelers you got to. Even that articat is similar in that area to on A lot of them as we'll to.

Thanks for all the info and yea, when we got the arctic cat, it had no spark as well, luckily it was just the ignition coil that needed replaced

You do realize that they stopped making Honda forTrax 300s in 2000 they never went over 2000 with them just saying they where 88 to 2000
