As a single mother of 1 son God told me he would bless me with a house. I believed God and walked by Faith. Back in 2004 o found the one I loved. At the same time a young man was there with both his parents and had interest as well. He put in an offer over the asking price - cash. I put in for the asking price and told her I was a Christian being led by God. She told me the Lord had her to know to give me the house. She wasn’t greedy. I’ve been living by the grace of God in my home since 2004. Won’t he do it!!

Being in Real Estate for 30yrs I will tell you, never get your hopes up unless you have unlimited funds and even then things can still go wrong. This house first of all would have outrageous insurance and taxes. Always check that and remember one thing those go up after your first year of ownership. Also high vaulted ceilings as I’m sure you are aware with that apartment you currently have bring high heating and cooling for empty space above. I was about to say make sure you have a good inspection but it looks like you have that handled. Now, I suggest you pray about it, God will provide the perfect home for you🙏❤️and also remember that, what’s meant to be will never pass you by. Rejection is Gods protection 🙏❤️

That house was insane with beautiful views. We bought our home in 2021, and I can 100% say that all the houses we got out bidden on, I'm so glad we did. Because the house got is perfect and everything I wanted. I have looked at houses after, and none have looked better or made me regret our decision. Like you said, be patient, it will come and you will feel in your soul...we're getting this house this time.

I would agree and I wanna thank you for your comment because it is helping me to keep in perspective of my house. I finally won the bid on this house, but it didn’t have as much action and with all the craziness around this house I see why but in the end, putting the money into the house makes this house so much worth it and it is giving me everything I could’ve ever asked for it really in the house. Things that I thought that I needed it like when I see another houses, I do not get envious. My house is perfect for me.

I have a similar story. We signed final papers and everything was done. But the guy pulled out the last minute sighting something about money and inspection and blah blah. But God was and still is with us. He gave us a beautiful home, one that my husband was doing landscaping work on. It just happened on God's timing. The homeowners were preparing to sell the house unbeknownst to my husband. Long story short, when we got denied the first home few days after we found out that they were getting ready to sell. They sold it to us b4 renovation was complete. And now we are Happy🎉

Ling and Lamb I too in my humanness and lack of future vision would have wanted that very gorgeous house. The views are splendid and breathtaking. But with all that fabulous- ness God is seeing the future that you both cannot see. I have to say no matter how lovely that house is, had you both got it and later have one or two bad neighbors move next door to you then that would be a different story. Believe me you would be so unhappy there that the house would have lost all its splendor in your eyes. You both may get another house, less lovely than this one but the most important thing is that you have peace and tranquility in that space, not only in the house but in your immediate surroundings. You both know how to be patient and to wait upon God. His blessings are sure and will never disappoint. Much blessings to you both.

That's a huge house to have to clean. I would need a housekeeper. Actually, I need one now & my house isn't quite that large. Being a homeowner is expensive with taxes, gardening, home repairs, not to mention furnishings, etc.. My husband passed away 4 years ago & I don't move around like I used to. I don't want to sell because just the thought of trying to get my husband's basement cleaned out makes me ill. He was an auto mechanic and had work tools, house tools, gardening tools & machines, & workout stuff. I can't even begin to know how to sell everything. I'm in Westchester County, which isn't that far from you guys. Good luck!

There is (bullion van) in Nigeria. That’s what it’s called there. People evolve language to suit their unique needs. If anyone calls it something else in their country, good for them. But in Nigeria and to Nigerians, that’s the name. Google can only show you what has been indexed to it. There is much that exists that is not on Google, especially things from the non-Western world. That’s another way that knowledge is colonised - the popular references are Western, making them look like they are the final authority, while the absence or dearth of other perspectives makes those ones look wrong, or not worth knowing.

What perspective buyers don't understand is the sale purchase is likely to fall through is in Escrow. Escrow is a different beast! If you had an inspection and title search it should have revealed it. YOU NEED TO DO A TITLE SEARCH FOR LEANS ON THE PROPERTY. TAX, COUNTY RESTRICTIONS, LAW SUITS THE WHOLE NINE YARDS 😢.

I know how you feel. We found a perfect house that was really cheap for what it was worth. We didnt have a huge budget so made a conservative bid thinking that others will put way more. When decided to say screw the budget and we were ready to put a higher bid sadly for us they already did a counter offer to another buyer and the house was sold for the bid we wanted to do. I didnt find what I wanted and still don't fully know why we bought the one we did, but trusting that God brought us here for a reason. 🙏🙏🙏

Some better is always around the corner! And one thing I have experienced, having lived, and still living in an independent house, with just 2 people, is beyond daunting regarding its upkeep. There’s never ending things to do and clean etc etc…I would suggest invest in an apartment space instead since it’s just the both of you. Once you guys have a family, it would make more sense moving into such a large home. Just my opinion :)
