I want to say, the 50s and 60s was the BEST time to be a middle class resident in the United States. Did you know in the 50s, you could earn a minimum wage job and be qualified on that one income to buy a house!

We still have one of the 3 classic cars my grandpa used to have, He sold his 51 ford and sold his torino and kept the 47 ford. We also have a 70's pickup that literally everyone has borrowed and drove still. Hell my uncle rebuilt the engine in the truck in like the 80's in the driveway.

I'm in tears, I'm so happy for this old man! And he's ABSOLUTELY right 👍! This is also my favorite car of all time! the most perfect looking car! So cool so classy. In 1978 When I was 22 I moved to ocean beach, ca. I would walk past this house a couple of times a week, deep down a long shaded driveway was parked a 1956 Lincoln Mark ll. Usually the tall gate was closed, a chain link fence with metal slats woven thru the links obscuring The view. But occasionally the gate was left open and I could see the all black car. It was the coolest looking thing. I loved the way the spare tire was fitted into the trunk shape. absolutely genius design! I used to call it the ghost car. with the gate closed it was as if it just didn't exist. you would never have any idea that something so cool was behind that gate. Having seen this green one I'm not sure which one I'd like better. I actually think the green one is the best looking one I've ever seen, the interior blows me away. You definitely have an investment there, and I and I don't mean in the car I mean in the whole concept the whole idea of buying this for your grandpa the investment in your family! the best part of it is your grandpa's going to enjoy it just the way it is to be enjoyed. Hopefully it will be a family heirloom. He's a lucky lucky guy he's got the best grandson and granddaughter in law ever!

I wish they had loved me more and guided me properly to survive rather than give me things. I watch an awful lot of these kinds of videos. It always seems to ME the Mormon's from Utah have a LOT of money and are always doing things associated with materialism and calling it love and family, etc. I DO know the difference between the two.

My mother had one from the time I was 4 until I was 10, I am 60 now and still love the 58 Olds Rocket 88. For me there is no more beautiful and sporty looking car in the world than the the 58 Olds Rocket 88. Only way I will ever have one is if I win a big lottery.

That was truly one of the most beautiful videos I've ever seen. I cried so hard. I said goodbye to my grandpa for the last time just about a year ago, and this did something to me that nothing else could. Thank you so much for sharing with us,we love you guys so much!!
