V-Belt I would definitely love to see a tour of the house!! That is one of my favorite things to see is the inside of different houses!! It gives me new ideas for new houses for sure!! But a shop is got to be the best for sure!! I’m wanting to build a shop here on my property in the next 5 years or so but it’s not going to be a small shop & it’s not going to be a 40’x40’ shop either!! I’m wanting one 60’x80’ or 70’x 100’ with 14’ to 16’ side walls so I can get just about anything I want in it weather it be a combine, semi & trailer, or a big camper!! They always say build one at least double the size you want to begin & a couple years later you will kick your self in the but for not building one bigger!! & the way I look at it is it will definitely bring the value of your place up in value also!! I think just about every one would love to have a nice size shop for sure!! Well loved watching your video that I found & look forward to watching plenty more of your videos for sure!! Oh one last thing is I think I would paint the outside of the shop white!! It’s cooler in the summer time!! & if you have cold winters where you are I would definitely spend the extra money on spray foam on the walls & sealing to help insulate it!! I will beat you that the savings on trying to heat the shop in the winter will be effortless with the spray foamed walls & sealing!! It will pay for the spray foam with in 4 to 5 years depending on how often you use it in the winter!! When I build my shop it will be white with a blue lower half & maybe the doors also blue!! Awesome video buddy keep them rolling!!

Nice place! Be careful showing the public all your toys, not everyone is trustworthy. Might invest in some Arlo cameras with Verizon cards that send motion notifications to your phone. My friend used them to catch a thief in our neighborhood.

Seen it installed off grid and worked with cellular network and batteries been robbed myself so you are going to be your best defense, Andy and Barney will come out and write a report, then shrug their shoulders. Get a spare camera and memory card and take a picture of everything you bring out each day with an id tag if it has one. Even small items like a fishing pole, tackle, tools shovels anything that can grow legs. put some color on it if it is generic item....just saying it sucks to have been there and have to save all over again...

what ever color you paint it.. search out a 50 pound bag of Glass Spheres.. this is what they spread on highway stripes to make them reflective. throw hand fulls onto the bottom 4 or 5 feet of the wet paint on the shop walls on the outside. so it really lights up when you hit it with a flashlight or headlight. really outlines where it is but also outlines anybody or anything standing next to it in the dark. hopefully when you do the fence.. you can at least start with a rolling chain link gate across the bay door opening. you can put strips in the chain link to make it private.. or stretch solar shade cloth across it. fastening it with upholstery hog rings to the chain link. if you have to build a chain link gate.. put chain link on both sides.. you can convert one side to sheet metal later.. leaving the inside chain link. since looking down from the highway looks straight into your shop. you could hinge it on the shop door side.. so the gate becomes a blinder to the highway for the shop also when working in the evenings.. you will even find the tamper between the bolt bins handy eventually if you can get a parts list to fix it. until you secure the shop.. hinge down a piece of gloss painted plywood over the stairway.. slow down access to the upstairs.

Paint the shop a sky blue, you know the color, it comes on the baked enamel industrial steel siding, and white on the roof so you don't get microwaved from the summer sun, or an air gap double roof, like the old land rovers, keeps it much cooler inside, congratulations on a great place!

I am subscribed to a lot of guys in farming, construction and land development and stumbled on you today - you seem like a likeable-enough kind'a guy so I'm in! Seems like a good starting point with your new property! Where are you located? (generally - nothing specific!) Also, I think your shop would look very sharp with a main color of forest green (darker than the lighter green you sometimes see) and a caramel-tan trim. That would make the white doors pop, I think! Good luck and I'm looking forward to watching some of your older videos to get to know you better, lol.
