So I live on the Coast of NC …. I’m starting to look into a tow rig set up to haul stuff for buying and flipping…. I will be running outta state to were ever but majority of my running will be more flat … I heard you mentioned about the fords what would you recommend for me right out the gate instead of buying 2 different trucks with a setup like your ram 5500 …. Also max weight I don’t want to miss out on opportunities…. I will eventually buy a tractor trailer again but I want to stick with a truck for versatility reasons

Small trailers are super handy for a lot of tight access things. I bought a 2016 bri mar with a 6k lbs axle last year for half of a new one and it was like brand new. It’s a little heavier built trailer than this but it’s only 5x12 and it has become the most used trailer we have honestly.

Your going to have the same problem of it pulling down on the front of whatever your pulling with the winch instead of pulling forward with that fairlead mounted where it's at instead you could replace the single center support with 2 supports with the winch line running through them and putting the fairlead on the winch instead hope this makes sense

You jogged my mind today. I have a similar trailer with the same ramp. It never occurred to me that it can be lowered inside the trailer. Thanks for showing this. Why didn't I see it? Now I can haul longer items without the ramp getting in the way. Appreciate at your videos.

My first trailer I bought is a old 1977 Snowmobile tilt deck trailer. It works great and I paid $200 for it a few years ago. Had to replace lights a few time they are put in a bad spot. Just a few weeks ago I went to the junkyard pulled home a truck bed trailer for $120. 8ft bed from a 1973-1979 ford f250. I'll be swapping the bed soon with a much nicer bed and build it into a much beefier and heavy duty utility trailer. With sides is a bonus. I won't have to worry about busting the lights off anymore hopefully since I will wire the lights to the original truck rear lights so they aren't sticking out the side plus I'll make this my own a little more.

People underestimate how handy those little utility trailers are. I’ve been looking for one on marketplace to add to my fleet because they’re perfect for hauling a quad or a couch instead of using my big gooseneck or car trailer.

Locking torque converters existed back then but with the technology of the time but they weren't strong enough to handle diesel torque.I think it wasn't until the mid-late 90s the 4-speed autos got lockup.
