Congrats for your first home, if you live there for 5 years . Your house will be 15-16 years old ,don't you think this will be a red flag while selling. Since you mentioned you weren't interested in investing in a property that is more than 15+ old. I'm going through the same sort of discussion in daily life I just want to know what's your take on this.

It totally depends on the buyer’s preference. In our case, we just chose not to buy an older property but we do know people who have invested in properties that are 20-30 years old. As long as the property is in good condition and passes inspection it should be fine. Hope that helps, thanks
