I regret coming to Canada. I came as a permanent resident in 2019. Compared to my life in my home country it is so difficult to survive here in Canada. I came here with a hope for better job, financial stability, lifestyle etc. but as the inflation is so high we can’t afford anything even with a net family income of $90000 per annum. The taxes are so high, the interest rate is high, everything even basic food and clothing is very expensive. Question:Then why am I not going back??? Answer is Appo ente kadam okke chodikkunnavar adachu theerkumo? Guys it’s a trap once you are here there is a black hole of debts including car, mortgage credit card etc .. so anubavam ullavar parayunnathu ketta nallatha alle vannu anubhavikku For someone who came before 2018 life must have been a little bit easier. Currently the situation is so worse

I came to Canada 22 yrs ago. Visas were issued strictly on a merit basis. I was denied student visa to a gen arts and science program at a college because i already had an MA in English. Then i had to wait longer for my spousal visa. Once i was here i applied to the BEd program. I was asked to take TOEFL in Canada. The TOEFL from India could not be considered. Finally after all the hurdles got admission for BEd. Most of the students coming now, i am sure are getting fake IELTS scores. That tarnishes the education and capabilities of the rest of them. Agencies make money, so did Canada during the pandemic. Hope things go back to the peaceful country it was years ago. 🙏🏼

Technically Canadian economy is not making any money with international students. Only the colleges are benefiting from it. Most of the students who come here are paying back the loan they took from Indian banks..so the money they brought here as students will be gone back back to India , by doing part time jobs or full time jobs. So the net gain for Canadian economy is zero or even negative from Indian students.

During the pandemic it helped Canada, because most of the aeging population stopped working. International students kept the ball rolling. They spent money here too as part of rent, groceries etc. It's when they started going to food bank and reselling the groceries they got for free that Canadians started getting really bugged. They don't integrate with the community, instead they create their own. The fees charged for international students was 4 to 5 times more than regular fees. Students who took sensible courses would benefit, others might have to go back to India. It put a lot of pressure on these students. They never report the number of students who 'died' after coming here.

Only one who benefited was the cooperates like Walmart or Amazon who utilize Indian students as cheap labor. Even before COVID Canadians started to find it difficult to get jobs especially in places likes Walmart or other stores. It was easy for people to obtain those jobs before mass immigration. So most of wages from these jobs are earned by Indian students and a portion of it is sent back to India. If you calculate the interest they are paying to banks back in India the net money they bought to Canada will become negative. There is a reason why India imposed 25% tax on money if someone is trying to send it outside of India.

I came to Canada as a PR and stayed in Canada for almost a year. After learning about the current issues, I decided to leave and return to the UAE. Till now I have no regrets about my decision. When I shared my thoughts with many people, most of them said it was because of my negative mindset and my inability to see the positive. I have lived in Australia since 2009. Until 2020, life was pretty good. After 2020, things are not great at all. I agree with your comments, unless people come and live here and experience things- they won't understand how messed up it is. This is my general opinion based on my experience. Healthcare system 4. Better standard of living in Kerala interms of purchasing power parity. If i am earning 80k monthly in Kerala, i would have to make atleast 4500 to 5000 after tax in Canada to match the same standard of living in Kerala. And many more.

We moved to Canada in 2016 from Muscat, we initially got our PR in 2013 but was reluctant to move to Canada seeing blogs like this online .At that time vlogs were less, it was only blogs. So we made the move in 2016 with heavy heart but now I really regret coming late .Moving to Canada was the best decision we made .

One of the reasons mentioned in the video is racism, I stay in Mississauga and work in a company in North York. Most of my colleagues are whites, but until now, I have not faced any form of Racism . All depends upon how you interact with people. Canada is full of immigrants from Asia , Europe and ME, so there are very few chances of racism.

Another reason mentioned is high interest rates. Interest rates are adjusted to bring inflation down. Another think I hear from Malayalees are , it's hard to buy a house because of Interest rates , and everyone is aiming to buy a detached house. We initially bought a semi-detached house and then moved up to a detached house. When we sold the semi, we could afford a detached and a small investment property. Now start with a condo townhouse and then move up. If both are working, definitely eligible for a townhouse in Kitchener.

I came here with my family last year. Your videos gave us the idea to apply for a study permit which proved to be a easy access to Canada. We moved from UAE and I regret. My wish is to return to UAE if I can get a Citizenship here which is not an easy task at current scenario. Even though I managed to get a job in my field within 6 months of arrival still I am not so happy. I know families who returned to UAE within a year who came same time like us. Ah UAE vibe kittunila and athu kittumenum thonunila. :p Pinne every place has it's ups and downs. UAE nalla food, easy access to India, friends and relatives. But children education, rent is expensive for a middle class family and weather is getting worser. Canada work life balance is good. Greenery and natural beauty. Free education for children (not high standard though) Pinne weather is good. Healthcare system njan pinne parayandalo lol. If both husband and wife can earn more than 100K a year life will be okay okay. In short Canada veliya sambhavam onnum alla. Pinne it all depends on your mindset. Cheers

As you mentioned, diploma course graduation is technically correct. Yes, even the kindergarten class graduates but it’s not considered as graduate school😂 By the way as a PSWP visa holder, you need to chill. Count your blessings , be positive, enjoy the life there. Instead of complaining work towards the PR.
