I was trying to figure out why you would leave the food paradise that is Auckland. I'm not wondering any more. Not only is the landscape/seascape GORGEOUS, but the area is also brimming with good food! I also didn't know that you were from that area. Partner & I are heading up to Northland in a month for a week. We're first time visitors from the Central North Island & don't know many people who have visited Northland. Thank you for sharing your amazing journey & experiences that we can add to our visit. Traditional maori fare served at one of New Zealands iconic restaurants located in Russell.Who would have thought? The food bought back so many memories and I was hanging on every mouthfull. Northland such a senic delight with such an array of kiwi food. One could spend a whole vacation exploring and sampling all that Northland has to offer. Love love love it guys

I would be at Helena Bay Cafe everyday! Scones and coffee and that view. I found that your adventures here were so romantic, ferry and beer tasting, then such fine dining. The fish is outstanding, you live in paradise. Can't wait for the next one! Have a fabulous week!❤

I was so hungry by the end of this. Wow! What a great showcase of the north. That food at the end, the raw fish, the boil up, wow. I have eaten a lot of boil up but never had Titi. Will definitely try that restaurant someday. Looks spectacular. Also the views you had at I believe it was Paroa, were spectacular. Great video, you guys. Cheers! Can't wait for part two.

at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.
