13.05 - Odd there is a different diamond placement in this version for this level. Usually there is a diamond in the bottom right segment of the screen.

Level layout changes with difficulty levels. This was done on level 5 so it should be the hardest layout.

@@einokeino303 Yes I know this but on K5 on every other system there is only 1 diamond in the bottom left and there is a diamond in the bottom right too. The MSX version seems to have altered that which i found odd.

MSX Version is by far the best. All other versions don't look as good or sound as good. Also other versions seem to scroll so slow! The speed of this version is perfect. I've tried playing other versions.. they just don't feel right..

No the C64 version looks better, plays the same and is almost on par with the sound of the MSX although the MSX is a wee bit better in that department regarding this game. They are both the best versions where one scores better on sound, the other on graphics and the rest is far behind.

How this is not as good as the C64 version? The C64 version has a slow scroll, the scroll can barely keep up with the game. Here you always have the action centered at the screen. And I don't remember having any trouble with the controls.

C64 has better graphics and sound as expected. For example, there's no SFX for slime in MSX. Haven't though about the scrolling difference before. Clearly it works as intended on C64, not having the character always centered. It makes the game harder, but that's the point. Not giving too much visual to help prepare for what's coming. However, the scrolling is smooth on C64, compared to MSX version where screen is scrolled one block at a time.

@@einokeino303 Did you grow up playing the C64 version? Because, honestly, it feels to me more a case of "I am more used to that version" Centering the action makes the game much more playable. And the C64 version looks really lifeless with the colors it uses. The MSX version is more colorful and more pleasing to look at.

Rocks'N'Diamonds and Supaplex are remakes. C64 version is the best though.

Nostalgia, I remember a good way in cave N to kill all those butterflys once for all with one stone for that you have to go to the first stone Taking into consideration leaving one square distance between you and the butterflies until you reach before the first stone one step, make one step up and back down now you must pass from under the rock to the right and pass it only one step towards the right until the rock falls and make the guard go out and go away from you so that he will not be able to return to you again, cuz the rock is an obstacle between you and him now push the rock until it reaches over the path of the first butterfly and then back one step and go down one step and wait until the first butterfly go up and before it reach the top by 3 steps make the stone fall into her and win she get killed the other butterflies will get involved with her and now u just killed all of them with one stone like we say killing a group of birds with one stone.. Try it and if you like it please give me your opinion 😉👍
