You can't see this but I am bowing to a master. This video changed the way I approach my music on the MPC. The power to create so quickly intentional variations and unintentional variations. Ease of use. This is why I bought an MPC. Thanks! Seriously a game changer for me. You are the One. The Force is with you.

Thanks man. This is a good alternative to Song mode, just bounce all your ideas to samples and jam it out with Record on.

Do you have any clue why i can't bounce anything to sample or audio track in standalone?

I feel like clips are better than song mode or at least a variation of it.

So you can then record this performance as a stereo track and then start the process over triggering one shots, audio tracks, loops, etc?
@mpchead7 жыл бұрын
Yes you can def do that. Watch the next video coming maybe tomorrow.

not sure if this is touch only or same goes for live, but with the live couldnt we achieve this a lot quicker we doing a sample edit then CHOP selection and auto chop to the bpm? could fine tune the samples afterwards for cooler variations...doing a convert to program then, would that be the same as creating a "clip program" I am yet to play with the clip programs on my live, but was thinking of trying to do so in hopes of recreating some sort of sp404 fx type workflow on the xyfx

Hello.I think Im trying to do exactly what you and other people do, but , when I make the clip program and search for the samples created from the "bounce to sample" option, they dont appear in the list, so I can not bounce to sample and make my own clip programs. Hope you can help me. thank you!

If you bounce a program to a clip and you have 16 sounds in that program they all get bounced out as clips now? So basically it just changed the file format to work with clips? Like a duplicate with a different file extension?
@mpchead6 жыл бұрын
when you bounce a program you are exporting the program to a wav file, all the sounds inside the program that are used in the sequence get exported to an audio file. You then import that audio file to a clip program.
@SirMalikCobra6 жыл бұрын
Ok
@digitalkmultimedia4 жыл бұрын
@@mpchead Does this mean the bounced file is stored in memory temporarily or are they stored on the internal drive someplace? If stored then how to find them on the drive. I mean where are they stored?
@mpchead4 жыл бұрын
@@digitalkmultimedia they are stored in the project that you are working once you save the project.
@digitalkmultimedia4 жыл бұрын
@@mpchead I should have known. So this means to find them in the stored location, I would have browse for them in the project folder. But once located I could import them into a new project. Just wish there was a faster way or shortcut to the files. Browsing is a bit of a pain. I can deal with it of course.

95% of Mpc users haven’t a clue about clips . They need to see this video , else they will be stuck in the one bar loop, or pattern or what I believe is revered to as a beat😂
