I took the LCSW exam last week and passed. I believe your prep videos, especially the scenario questions, where a big part of my passing score. Thank you for posting.

I just passed the LCSW !! First try I failed within 10 points so requested a waiver to retest before the 3 months. The exam I took had a lot of ethical questions, several research questions (more than what I'd expected), strengths based, gender issues, couples, diagnosis amongst others. My advice is control your anxiety, know your SW content and practice, practice, practice questions. Know how to break down those questions. I had 47 seconds to finish the exam so I definitely took all the time I needed.

Thanks for your course content and test taking tips. I took my ASWB exams today 10/20/21 and passed with 106 points. I am so relieved.

Thank you. Took the LMSW for the 4th time and failed in May. I knew going in that I wasn't ready but wanted to get the test over with-was going on my Birthday Cruise. Going for it again! I am not defeated because the 3rd time I failed by 1 point!

I know this is an old comment, but I had to comment because your situation sounds a lot like mine. I'm sorry that you didn't pass your test especially being so close. Have you retested and if you did, how did you do? Disclaimer: long comment, my apologies in advance. I just need to vent and some direction - Back story On February 9, 2023, I took the LMSW exam and missed it by four points. This was my third time taking this exam, and each time I have missed it by four points. I graduated with my MSW in December 2013. Immediately after graduation, I applied for my temp license and got a job with it. I studied for seven months and took the exam on July 9, 2014. I failed by four points. I used the LEAP study guide and purchased the practice test from the ASWB website (which I passed). To say I was crushed was an understatement. I was let go from my job due to not having my licensure so I ended up getting a job in child welfare and basically gave up on that dream. On July 2022, I got enough courage to try again and started studying for my licensure exam. I used the same LEAP book and purchased the practice test from the ASWB website (which I passed). I took the exam on October 22, 2022, and failed AGAIN by four points. I was approved for a waiver through ASWB and purchased another study program that was highly recommended by two friends. I went through the program twice. I felt really prepared and confident throughout the program. The final mock exam, I made a 77% (according to their program is passing). I took the real exam a few days ago on February 9, 2023, and failed by four points. My confidence is hurt, I feel discouraged, defeated, embarrassed and I do not know if social work is for me. My test eligibility expires July 9, 2023. I used this weekend to process my failure again. I'm deciding whether or not I want to request a waiver and retest in a month or so or wait the 90 days. The program I purchased did extend my program through August 2023. Per the ASWB website - Candidates may not receive more than two waivers in twelve months for any single examination category. If I am approved to retest before the 90 days, this will be my second waiver to retest/pass the exam or I will have to wait an entire year. I am not sure what I should do. I feel like the real exam questions are nothing like the study guide practice questions. I do have test anxiety but that hasn't been the issue. I even took a break half way through and ate a snack as recommended by the program. I went to school and busted my @$$ to become a social worker and it seems like it's too far fetched. Any advice... thanks in advance P.s your motivation inspires me not to give up...

@@wtfrenchtotes I haven't gave up but still quite haven't built the confidence to start studying again. I plan to start in August when my kids go back to school and dedicate a few months to it. Any advice? What study program are you using? P.s you got this queen! Congratulations in advance 🎉👏🏽🎉👏🏽.

@@j-tastic I purchased the AOC study and TDC. TDC didn’t work for me because it’s all audio and I’m a visual learner so the videos with AOC and explanations are great. I’m just like you, couldn’t continue the job because of licensure. Same feelings of defeat, but pushing through!! Where are you from? I’m from NY! Maybe we can motivate one another and get through this together 🙏🏼🫶🏼

@@wtfrenchtotes let's do a proper introduction. Hi, my name is Juanita. I'm in SA, TX. Nice to meet you and yes let's motivate each other. I purchased TDC on my 3rd attempt. What was discouraging for me was that I passed the study guide, practice quizzes, mock exams, etc with flying colors. I was overly confident in my exam date and still missed the exam by 4pts. Each time I tested, I failed by 4 pts. I'm going to purchase AOC this go around

Thank you because I am studying for my LMSW now, however, I am not going in thinking l am going to pass. I am taking my journey 1 day at a time. I already know this test is going to be hard. I am going to pay for the practice exam before I take this exam.

@melissa Fox same here. I have failed my LMSW exam three times, every single time by four points. I have purchased other programs and did exceptionally well and passed all the mock exams and quizzes. When it came to the real exam, I felt like the wording of the questions was a lot different and definitely more challenging. I took the exam on October 22, 2022, and February 9, 2023, and before that back in July 2024. All three test had a lot of macro level/community based questions which I struggle with. How did you do on your test? Any advice on how you overcame your challenges?

Yes this is helpful…I’m taking your advice to get in touch with the author of the study material, which is yourself. Toward the end of my studying time I stomped upon your shorts videos, I found them helpful, I failed this last time by 6 points . I’m my next studying journey I would like to use your package , however my weakness is Human Development, it doesn’t appear that your program Covers that content area. Please advise . Thank you.

Hi there. My program is organized following the KSA units on the exam. There is extensive content on Human Behavior (Unit 1). If you found my KZbin channels helpful I suggest checking out the paid course at agentsofchange.thinkific.com. All customers all get access to study groups two times per month! Those are very helpful to get real time practice.
