I'm a third gen native of Flagstaff. My great grandparents moved here in 1897, and over the years have had several successful businesses in the town. In the early 1950's my Grandfather sold his business and semi retired in Sedona after buying a apple orchard from a man who had been in the area also since the early 1900's. It was where

I first visited Sedona twice back in the 90's, and although we didn't get to hike around like you two, it was still amazing. Sedona just isn't visually breathtaking, there's an energy to it. A positive vibe that warms the soul. You're right about being unable to properly explain it. Words just don't do Sedona justice. The next time I go there, I'm definitely doing a helicopter ride!

So Amazing! Those aerial shots of Sedona, wow! Gonna go after it cools down some, prob late Sept and do the Helicopter tour. When you were trying to describe the beauty of it and talking about how words don't do it justice, etc it reminded me of my Gramps. He told me as a child, words can Never do justice to the most Beautiful places and experiences, etc. That is so true, when we find ourselves dissatisfied in describing something, somewhere, etc it means it is uniquely special and we must have more of it!! :). Thank you for what you do and for being you! :)

Beautiful scenery in Arizona, but I am a cold weather person so I chose not to move there. Really enjoyed you footage of your hikes. You mentioned about difficulty getting a hot shower at times. Well, how about a hot shower in a box anywhere anytime. Check out Revere Overland titled "Instant Hot Camp Shower in a Box" pretty creative and really compact.

@@BoundForNowhere This set-up uses a propane bottle and a tankless water heater and he has it all mounted in a pelican case primarily for the water heater except for propane bottle. You use a 5-gallon water container for a source or hook-up to another faucet with garden hose. Shower head inside case as well and small water pump as well. You might get use to it.
