I’ve never got the cumin note, but the clove is prominent on my skin. Reminds me of Bigelow Constant Comet tea. Also, KZbin un-subbed me sometime back, maybe a few weeks ago. Not sure what that’s about?

Boundless was the first Amouage I ever smelled, and I absolutely love it. Since then, I’ve also smelled Epic Woman and Journey Man. Perhaps you can attribute it to the fact that it was my first, it remains my favorite of the three. I’m sure there are many Amouage diehards that think I’m crazy, but so be it.

Couldn’t sample this, but some say it’s close to L’Occitane Eau Des Baux, which I absolutely love. If you haven’t tried it, I highly suggest to. Can be sampled at any L’Occitane store.

I think this one is fantastic. Sure it's a profile that's been repeated many times by many brands & it's a bit subdued from the Amouage of the past, but Id say it's also the best in its field. Silver Oud & King Blue are newer ones that are more like the old Amouage. I think you'd like them & I know you'll get them sooner or later.

@@robes08 King Blue is weird, but not blue. Dunno why they gave it such a daft name. It's masterfully done, but better suited to the middle eastern audience, as the oud is quite skanky. Certainly worth experiencing, but maybe not full bottle worthy.

I don't think I really need this one, it would be redundant. I have Overture and it is up there with my favorites from the brand, it's intoxicating, can't wait for your take on it. My favorite is still the Blue Beast I don't know what my skin does to it but it's just pure bliss in a bottle. Thanks for the Unboxing Marc!!!

I think any karine vinchon spehner amouage release is exceptional, regardless of the era, personally. This one i think was a bit of a victim of the new creative direction backlash, which is fair enough.. however i find it amazing personally, and the resinous quality that persists makes it almost chewy to my nose haha, i pick up on the elemi even in the drydown in the peripheral and it still keeps it very unique but subtly so. Lineage was another one by her and i think thats also been very unfairly criticized, that briney saltiness contrasting with the temple-like incense makes for a really creative aquatic experience. Sure, the modern ones probably arent as much of a show-stopper level of challenging, but i think the nuance remains and there's still a ton of people that i see that put off by the profiles of the newer ones -- which in a way proves to me they're still a rather creative niche house under salmon. As soon as it starts to cool down where i am, thats when i start to throw on the hall of fame amouages and for me boundless is part of that rotation 😊

My concern is how wearable are these Amouages in real life, Reflection Man seems to be the only one that's a day to day scent from what I've experienced. Jubilation too

Imo this isn't at all wearable. The top and mid smelled like I dumped curry on my skin, so not really a fan. I'm okay wearing "art", but not straight up vindaloo.

I really think it's about confidence, where you live and what you do on a day to day basis on wearability. Since I live in Canada and the weather is cooler I can pull these off a little more and for a longer stretch, also depending on your day to day you can wear this more often than not but if you are in an office setting etc at work than it won't get much play and of course your confidence of wearing this kind of stuff. It's not for everyone tbh and yes some Amouage you need to think before you apply to see if it's applicable to wear that day.

I haven't sniff it yet, well not properly as it was a split so the atomizer sniff is always a must when getting a new fragrance that was split but that's it. Can't wait to finally put it on.
