Boundless by CSMA North London Karting Group Whilton Mill Heat 1 AM Tuesday 10 May 2022

AM Heat 1 - Literally been over 10yrs since i raced at this place - and took a bit of time to get back up to speed - and Kart No.9 was not the greatest in the morning sessions - as it lacked pick-up out of the slower corners and up the hill - which really hurt me as a HW driver....
Managed to only just avoid a spinner in the first couple of laps - and then had a pretty clean run until Kart No.4 came back on track right in front of me after having a spin at the Boot - but instead of staying wide, went for the apex at virtually no speed and forced me over the kerb and almost into the tyres - which then nearly fired me off the track towards the plastic egg-crates and barrier to the pit lane....
Managed to keep it on track and gained 4 places overall - so was pretty pleased with that - especially as the kart clearly wasn't one of the quicker ones on the day. RM ; )
