Boundless Love (John Prine) cover by Dennis Anthonis

Yesterday was our 40th wedding anniversary. I can't even imagine where I'd be today if I had not found Mary. She's not a gambler, but she certainly gambled on me. Her boundless love helped me find true love for the first time.
Rummaging through old photos, I found these from 1979. It was our first trip together, a couple years before we were married. I discovered many things about her on this trip. I learned enough to know I should propose to her.

Prine and Waits are my favorite singer/songwriters. Others in the line-up include Uncle Neil, Zevon, Joni, and Guy Clark. I get mildly obsessed with a particular song for a week or three. The previous one was "Magnolia Wind," the current fascination "Ruby's Arms." I just came across your music, and look forward to combing through it.
