hi, for your 3rd example you rounded 5.6 to 6 but for the 4th example you didnt round 0.4 to 0 - I know its probably because 0 isnt sufficient answer or something but just wanted to check on why that is and in exams if the answer isnt 0 when we round the number should we always round the number? thanks so much for this video and sorry if my comment is abit confusing
@aedancraig3136 Жыл бұрын
Well basically, why he did this is because 5 in UB is a higher number for rounding And 4 in LB is a less number for rounding So basically if both numbers are in a level whether higher or lower, you can consider 5.6 For example: UB = 5.68 LB = 5.65 As you can see 8 and 5 are in a higher level, so you can consider it to be 5.6 And goes same with the lower

Why do we stick a 5 at the end..
@seinfeild16443 жыл бұрын
We stick a 5 at the end because, if the question asks for nearest 1 decimal place (d.p) 0.1 divided by 2 is 0.05. Another example- if the question asks for 2 d.p then 0.01 divided by 2 is 0.005. Did you understand?
