After 10 years in music production I have to say I think you mastered the right tutorial format. Watching somebody walkthrough a recreation the made in private isn’t really a good learning tool. However watching you experiment and think out loud really helps me learn how to deconstruct what I’m hearing when trying to recreate a song. You should document the step by step process!

I know I'm late to the party but I stumbled upon this whilst trying to do the same thing with Volen Sentir's Cyclops remix. Definitely bitten off more than I can chew but watching this is really inspiring. When you break it down with your fantastic ear for sounds, it doesn't seem quite so complex! Thanks so much

Like that Jules, beautiful tune and interesting to see how you use the reference track to work on that project ! Very impressed by how you keep focus and calm while you are struggling making the melody part. Listening and using guitare sample, do some test first then switch to vst, trying different things etc and you came up with that great tune then 👏👏 Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work and salut from France 🐸✌️

Great in depth video. Thx for that. Off topic question: Seems you are using Windows 11 now. Any stress with moving from Windows 10 to 11 regarding your in the box music software? Is there any obvious advantage to change from 10 to 11?

Good job but honestly this sounds nothing like Volen Sentir, its sounds more like Marsh, Volen didn-t use arps like that. But your certantly nail the kick and bass groove. Keep it going man great content

I have seen many tutorials like this that tell you how to have or add the elements but none of them tell you at what volume those elements should be set and that is what I need 😰
@BoundtoDivide
@BoundtoDivide 26 күн бұрын
@@electropicmusic i dont talk about specific numbers because different sounds and instruments have different energies. I might set one bass sound at -3db quieter than the kick and in the next project its -5db for example. Unfortunately mixing isn’t some formula that you can just learn. You have to listen, adjust, listen, reference, etc. its all about developing your ear which comes from years and years of consistent practice.
