With promise of riches and land, Bountig sets off west to raid the lands of Rohan. However, like most young men Bountig is easily fooled and fate has other plans for him. Setting off on a new adventure Bountig has much to see and learn in Middle-earth.

Pelargir was the chosen capital of tye 4(?) So called Ship kings of Gondor, under them much of the coast of north western middle earth bowed to Gondor and its Navy. Dol amroth, named in memory of the elven king Amroth of Laurelindorenan (Lothlorian before Galadriel) who drowned in the bay after jumping from his ship to try to get back to his love

the story of Amroth who dol Amroth is named for is actually a very sad one he was prince of lorien and his father died in the battle of dagorland (alongside Oropher Thrandurils father) he fell in love with the Silvan elf Nimrodel who wished to leave lorien for somewhere safer and more peaceful so he told her of Edhellond but during the trip they became seperated and he reached ethellond but it was neigh abandoned during a storm the ship he was waiting for her on blew out to sea and he tried to swim back to land but perished and by the time Nimrodel reached Edhellond all the ships had left and no elves remained in edhellond after her arrival there alone nothing is known of what happened to her Dol Amroth was named in honour of Amroth and the Nimrodel (a river in lorien) after Nimrodel

For the record, Gondor is divided in kingdom-sized principalities and the hereditary rulers of these provinces are called Princes, this type of structure goes all the way back to the founding of Numenor, the only princes that don't use the title are the rulers of the principality of Lebellin, who instead use the title of Sealord, it's usage goes all the way to Pelargir's founding!

Not quite! The title of 'prince' is in fact extremely unqiue, with only the Prince of Dol Amroth (also know as Belfalas) being permitted the title. They were uniquely elevated at the time of the founding of the Realms in Exile, and were the only princes in Gondor until Aragorn granted Faramir the title 'Prince of Ithilien' after the War of the Ring. The rest of Gondor was split into large fiefs, ruled by High Lords, or the the case of Pelargir, the Sealord. This is similar to Numenor, where local rulers of different parts of the island were indeed just Lords or High Lords, no one had the title of 'Prince'.
