I was in Wayside in '85. I was playing dominoes with some Crips and one of them said,"15"! I said...lol " Blood! Thats 14"! It got quiet than a MF. One Crip dude said,"Blood"? I said. What's hattin"? He was like, "aw nawww. He told he was going to get his homeboys to rush me! I was waiting for it to come. The next day, my homeboy Eric Thornton came to see me! He saw me being transferred to wayside from the county. I felt a sense of relief..lol then, we met up with two more of the homeboys( Mankey and Booney). I was like," yeaaah! Whats hattin now"? Lol I thought bird bath was an NY prison term until I hear Cappuccino said it. A bird bath is when you taking a quick shower at the sink with your sheet up as a curtain so your bunkie/celly can't see u naked. Everybody in upstate NY prisons did that shit (take bird baths). It was 1 of those things that shocked me when I first went up north as a 17 year old crip in 2000 (taking showers at the sink). And just like BJ, I hated dorms. I'm an antisocial guy, so I rather do my time in a cell by myself or with 1 other inmate at most. Not to mention 90% of NY prisons are blood controlled, so just imagine being a crip in a 100 man dorm with like 40 bloods. I been in that situation (on Rikers island though, which in NYC's county jail), and got smashed on like 3 times and took 3 big L's back in 1999 at the age of 17

"Worrior's without a cause". Notice the older members were divisions of Crips 8 tray crips etc. I was there when the Crips started. Maybe they should devote their time and energy to something else. Perhaps something more constructive. Such a shame bc the gangs in L.A. have really good structure.
