Bourbon Hunting: LUCKY LUCKY at Liquor Barn

I was in Kentucky may 9th. I went to a liquor barn express and to my suprise they had one hancocks left on the shelf. I bought it and went on with my day. 2.5hrs later I popped my head back inside before leaving town and the employee that helped me was gone. nothing was on the shelf either. My gut told me to ask the new guy if they had any allocations sitting around and he grabbed me the very last hancocks from under the counter!!!! 2 hancocks in a day for msrp I couldnt resist!!!!! man only if Michigan hunting was more like Kentucky. I've never seen a hancocks in Michigan in my life

I ended up getting a 1.75 L Eagle Rare from LIquor Barn at about 2 pm. They were staggering their releases. TPS dropped Weller full proof on Saturday morning. Derby week is a great week for hunting.

I just can’t get my hands on a Hancock’s in Illinois for a reasonable price. Wow! A Hancock’s pick with a cool velvet bag would be awesome. Congrats on the lucky break.

K Luke is fantastic whiskey. Saw it on the shelf in a liquor barn toward the end of the video. If that is the current Batch 8, buy it. You won’t regret it. It’s my favorite pour right now.

There is too much realy good juice at regular retail pricing , for me to ever buy a bottle on secondary... It's your money, do what you want, but me,, never paying for whiskey just to say I have ( name your unicorn) in my stash...
