Well, I'm about to pack things up and call a new place home. We're headed to Arizona!
Bourbon is about change. Afterall, that's why so many of us has ever-growing collections of bourbon. It's more than just different recipes, it's about age and how this stuff changes over time.
That's what I love about bourbon, and that's a big reason why I started this channel!
Now, it's a new year and things have changed! Hoping to get to posting more regularly... so brace yourselves for lots more bourbon talk... from the desert!

Your taste is something that evolves with time, changes with what you ate before, changes with the PH or chemistry of your body, and changes with your knowledge of different tastes. Knowledge of different tastes you say? Yes, if you never tasted vanilla before, how do you know what it tastes like? You have to broaden your repertoire of different tastes. They even sell kits of vials of different tasting flavors so you can expand your knowledge of different tastes. Not many of us really know what leather tastes like, do we? So, its not all about your age or how long you have been drinking bourbon. I think attitude and a willingness to explore different bourbons is what broadens your bourbon horizons. Or if your happy drinking one brand of bourbon only and your happy, power to you.

I started with crown as well. And i completely agree on the drinking to get wasted, now as a "sophisticated" mid 30s man i enjoy a drink for the taste, and atmosphere. Granted i drink alone, thats probably a Wisco thing though! All my friends drink to get wasted but whiskey has me relaxing and enjoying life. good video, great channel!

Great music, great whiskey. On Canadian whiskey, have you tried any of the new generation? Dark horse, Lot 40, Fourty Creek Double barrel reserve, Pike Creek rum barrel finish? Canadian whiskey is growing up too....

You make some very valid points here. ultimately all that really matters is if you really enjoy what you are drinking.your tastes definitely change as you mature.i began with regular white label jim Beam which i still Feel is a decent bourbon and fine as a budget pour.over the years i expanded and experience many fine bourbons and came to appreciate the quality of finely crafted bourbons from many different distilleries. While i much prefer higher quality bourbon like bookers, stagg,eh taylor,wl wellers ,etc...i still ocassionally still enjoy a good moderately priced bourbon .there are plenty of really good bourbons available today At pretty much ever price point.to all i would encourage you to experience as many as you can.
