haha that's a whole lotta spam! i can't help but think of the monty python sketch haha! and yum! i grew up eating that toffee, as did most kids my age, born in the late 50s, early 60s. enjoy, delish! 😊

You have a lot of good eating there! Slice thin and fry crisp for a bacon like version. Slice thick, fry until brown, add cheese, and put on bread for a delicious sandwich. Eat cold when you don’t feel like cooking add crackers and it’s still great! Watch out for all the salt though. It is quite salty to some. Add lettuce and tomato to it on a sandwich and it’s kind of like a blt. Enjoy! Great gift Mike!

I’ve never seen anyone so happy to receive SPAM mail! I’m glad you liked the package Piotr. The toffee is best smashed in the wrapper, it keeps all the pieces together…it will these the fillings from your teeth though. It’s a VERY Canadian candy, we lost it for awhile as the factory closed. Thankfully it’s back again! Take care!!! Watch out for those neighbours of yours.

And I've never seen anyone so happy about slonina, especially far from our region :) You make me curious about the sweet , what can it mean so Canadian. Today I saw a video about making Canadian sweet -a dough from boiled potatoes with tons of caster sugar, rolled with peanut butter. Weirdo for me ;)

@@deliciousMRE Mackintosh toffee started in 1890 in England, it’s been available in Canada for many years and it’s a classic candy. I had to look up the potato and peanut butter candy, it’s French Canadian in origin and something I’ve never seen or heard of. Słonina is amazing! I’m also pretty sure one SPAM is 25% less fat and the other is 25% less sodium. 👍🙂
