Great video! The Patreon competition experience is so so much fun! I had such a blast when Jason and Craig came to my shop in England to make the super king bed last year - thoroughly enjoyed watching this video too and it looks like Sean and Dan had a great time there! Quite jealous of the mitre station as well - I think it might be twice the size of my shed though!

The book provides clear illustrations kzbin.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO diagrams that cover many of the essential topics. The projects at the end of the book are valuable for enhancing your skills and creating your own furniture. A digital platform linked to the book that could offer the plans for other woodworking projects with the cut sheets would have been a nice addition, but overall, the book is excellent.

Ok, there's a bunch to talk about here. First, another great video blahblahblah.....I'm a newb woodworker who thoroughly enjoys what Jason does with his channel. I'm from New Jersey, (Keith is around here somewhere), and when Dan said he was from West Long branch, my jaw dropped. But I have to say something directly to Dan, from the video. Tommy Nungesser, your first boss, grew up across the street from me, his Dad George, sold my father an acre of cornfield to build our house on. Tommy's sister Penny, used to babysit me...1965, 66, somewhere in there, she would ride her horse to our house. Penny was a sweetheart, her horse, not so much, I was pretty sure it was trying to kill me. Both my Dad and my uncle Buttsy worked for George at times. Just the mention of Tommy's name brought back some great memories for me, so Thanks for that. And Sean, your miter station is nicer than mine. Even with that horrid Formica.
@danielpfalvo5423 Жыл бұрын
Ed, SMALL World WOW Tommy is/was a great builder and teacher while I was too young and irresponsible at the time what I got from him and Skip (carpenter who was working with him) was a love of working with my hands and wood specifically. all my memories of my time with GTN are good ones. I actually moved from the area just 5 years ago.

I built my miter saw station in 2003. I moved in 2004, and again in 2010, and again in 2013, and again in 2019. I did not fasten the two boxes together with glue. This allowed me to move them rather easily, although they are heavy. When I reinstall them I do the whole leveling thing. If you are building a miter saw station and you think you might move 4 times, you might want them to come apart even if you are 55.

This was just great and inspiring. I’m just wrapping up my extension in the back of my garage and a miter station is the first thing I want to move in there but this build has made me say”I’m going in a different direction “ . I’m even going to try the laminate thing( just black) for the first time. Everything flat surface will get the same treatment ( in black no faces). I’m sure those guys are in the shop having a great time putting bigger mustache and bigger beards and maybe whiting out the mustache and beards. Drawing crazy hats glasses. I’m mean their were a lot of faces. It’s going to take them a month to finish.
