In case anyone cares, the leg/box portion is called a "cradle" and the pucks are called "shuckles". Also, though the finished product is indeed beautiful, you will regret not installing climate bars under the playing surface. Generally, the legs support the cradle and the playing surface floats on three to five pins (depending on the length of the playing surface) that are equidistantly spaced end to end and centered down the length underneath. Each of those pins has a threaded stud on either side side designed to tune the surface. A correctly tuned shuffleboard surface will be concave side to side (about .004") and end to end (about .012"). The climate bars allow you to tune the surface as the table ages or the climate changes, and lets you maintain the proper concavity. Never the less, that project turned out gorgeous!!!

It would be a bit of a pita but I would think they could still install climate pins/bars/adjusters by unfastening the top and pulling it out to cut out openings for the bars and then reinstall everything. Honestly they might be able even do it the lazy way. Their table doesn't seem to have any sort of bottom skirting so they could possibly even simply flip the table over, remove the legs and using a circular saw set to the appropriate depth of the base of the cradle and cut out openings from the cradle plywood bottom without ever separating it from the butcher block top. And then install adjusters in the openings.

I haven't played shuffle board in 65 years nor have I even seen one in that time. Back in the 60's it was the most popular game in a game room but the ones we played were more like 16 feet long. You guys did a masterful job, one you can be proud of.

Here's another tip for your shop tips videos. For guys who use Shop-Vacs for dust collection - Replace the blower (If it burns out or want more power) with a cheap 120v leaf blower. You have to get one that can work as a leaf vac so it has a round intake to mount on the vac canister with a simple plywood plate. It's way cheaper than buying a new Shop-Vac (Assuming they don't have a good dust collector). $30 is cheaper and more powerful than spending $100+ on a new unit.
