I visited Beirut a few years ago. At the end of my vacation, I walked into a big store to buy some clothes & gifts to my family back home. My total charge was around $300. So, I tried to cut a deal with the shop keeper (Who was Armenian) in an attempt to knock down the price...Amazingly, he grabbed my stuff & put it back on the rack, saying in Arabic:Listen man, this is not an (Arabian goats bazaar) this is a respectful store!!!
