I remember watching this live when it aired in the 90s and feeling like there was something very special about this specific performance. Decades later, I found out that according to surveys, thousands of people still say this was their favorite ice skating performance of all times. I’m glad it’s uploaded on KZbin for new generations to discover because, although most of us don’t remember who won Gold at this competition, we’ll always remember this moment.

I'll never forget this routine, it still gives me goosebumps and makes me want to cry for some reason. Bourne and Kraatz were truly a perfect partnership. Absolutely meant to be.

Never seen this routine before. Nice, but my fav will always be the routine to Riverdance. They carved out their own style and stood out from the rest of the ice dancers of the world in so doing. I don't think they were as truly appreciated as they should have been, outside of Canada.
