Born in Bournemouth in 1956, returned many times to live and visit. I remember travelling on a trolley bus with my Grandmother on their last day of operation in April 1968!

I wasn't born until '67, but prefer it when I was growing up. More in common with my childhood here than what's here now. I leave work, looking up at the remaining old buildings and think how much we've lost. Thanks.

I think Bournemouth was in Hampshire in the 1960s.

Yes, the boundary was changed in 1974 as it formery went through the middle of the Bournemouth/Poole conurbation.
