The East Dorset N Gauge Group (EDNGG) held the 2023 Bournemouth Exhibition over the weekend of 11th/12th February. An interesting variety of layouts were on display and there was good visitor attendance.
My apologies to John Cavell (Crossways Wagon Works) and Toby Hollins-Jones (Sodham Hall) because I didn't push the Record button when 'videoing' your layouts. Hopefully, I will see the layouts again.
The layouts featured in Part 2 are:
Sarah's Falls - N gauge - EDNGG. Canadian/American border area with small station and saw mill.
Benbridge - N gauge - EDNGG. Double track mainline station, branch line and goods yard in the Cotswolds in the 1950s/1960s.
Wyke Road - 00 gauge - David Coombes. Fictitious location somewhere in the Weymouth area in the 1960s/1970s.
Goathorn - 7mm Scale; 9mm gauge. Ball clay tramway on the southwest of Poole Harbour in the Edwardian era.
Penmawr - 00 gauge - Chris Thomas. Typical GWR 4 road engine shed and a turntable somewhere in South Wales in the 1930s.
Museum of Transport - various gauges. Standard gauge and miniature railways, buses, trams, boats, planes and lots of items to spot.
St. Frazal d'Ardeche - Nm gauge - Piers Milne. Based on a French metre gauge line.
Shaftesbury Parkway - N gauge - David Webber. Partly modernised junction station in Network Southeast area in the period 1980 to present day.
