One of my favorite stories about directing/editing...know what NOT to shoot -particularly if someone else is editing your film.

Editing has become such a huge part of my life. I was so glad to get some of that out there. And then the when is something done question- I have loved figuring out the different answers to that. It says a lot about someone.

I don't mind social commentary in films as long as the film is entertaining. I think a filmmaker should be able to say what they want but...just don't be boring. The only bad movie in my opinion is a boring one

100% in fact I'd say the viewing experience is much richer if a film has something interesting to say and isn't just plot for plot sake. Like you said, just do it well
