Bow Lake to Peyto lake (via Wapta Icefields) Part Two - Bow Hut and out

So this is part two of the Bow to Peyto Journey. We start this video leaving Bow Hut and make our way to Peyto. This usually is about a 4 hour journey from one hut to the next. All hut bookings are made through the Alpine Club of Canada. You can check their website.

Thx for these videos! They were a great guide. Update July 2023 for future parties - the exit off the glacier coming down from Peyto (see video around 6:40) has changed a lot - you can no longer come down near the bottom as the glacier has melted, and the lake has become significantly larger. The exit is now higher up (a bit above the large crevasses you see in the video here), and you follow a set of cairns off towards your left (right on the photo) down a steep gully with a stream. Scramble down that to get down. We did it in dry conditions and it was fine, if it’s raining it would be quite sketchy and slippery.
