i have hit a shot where in the shot analysis it went clear through both lungs, was a male, and was shot with a bow, and it just didn’t register. this has been the hardest mission i’ve done on this game by far. i’ve had nothing but trouble with this mission

I do remember several people having difficulty. If I recall correctly only one lung needs to be knocked out and the other just needs to be hit

Will.have to actually watch the sections with possible damage inconsistencies, at that range with the bow, I wouldn't be expecting very good penetration, but really curious to see it, bows have been ridiculously deadly up close the times I have used it

It's still crushing them at 100m double lung. But sometimes it doesn't at the same distance. Best I can tell it's the curvy flesh and high minimum joule retirement

The back half of the lung appears to be noticeably thicker.

Yeah and the top lung area is probably closer together which may be why the upper shots seem to work better

Thanks again for another great video. I absolutely love this map and I’m sure people are gonna think I’m crazy but I found an albino lion. He’s still young though, so I wanna let him grow. I found him in the southern center of the map and the sand dunes found a few bugs. Don’t know if you found them or not every time I go to aim with the bow and hold my breath. I start walking kind of driving me crazy to be honest.

I've heard of that bug with the walking while aiming thing. Seems very strange. Hopefully there will be a fix soon. And grats in locating a white lion! 🎉

@@bumblewoot yeah I wasn’t sure if it was just on my platform. I have a PlayStation five, and which case the L one button is hold your breath and auto walk. Hope it gets fixed soon. It’s making me not want to use the bow.

Hey Bumble. Good views on the bow. So I would think that to flip a zone you would have to kill them at the zone and not off in lala land after theyve been spooked. Just a guess, but this game makes you guess.

That is a possibility. But it isn't proven any more than the other possibilities. That is the issue we have. I have had a small discussion with the devs on zone flipping, but I'm not at liberty to say anything on that. But I do know they are looking at it 👍

Also forgot to mention, I agree completely. I love the new hiker difficulty really helping with culling herds. Just curious, is anybody else having an issue with straight on shots with greater kudu and gemsbok. While using the 308, and the 338 Lappula magnum, having a very hard time killing either of those animals even under 100 yards with straight on shots fyi have been playing the game for quite some time and have gotten really good with shot placements. Just curious if it’s a bug or are these animals just tougher than we’re used to

Interesting. I'll try and have a look at that as well. I've been mostly using the bow. The 338 should definitely work. The 308 would depend on how much flesh is in the way

@@bumblewoot yeah, I know doesn’t make any sense to me, but I have been getting a whole lot of blood spots and an animal survived and under 100 yards for those levels of animals that’s very unusual

Bow bug, im only able to fire a single arrow, Mal wont reknock another, he wont run or sprint, i cant pull out my binoculars im stuck in a slow walk and must slow walk to my utv, once their i cant get in my utv until i go to the storage department, after accessing my storage mal is able to reknock, sprint and swap gear. The bug happens every time i fire a arrow. 😢😢

Yes, I am experiencing similar things not quite as extreme as yours, but every time I pull out the bow I have trouble switching from the bow to any other item

Best regards: The missions and progress of the game are lost with the new DLC..? , I can only access the weapons, claims and vehicles in free hunt. but the progress of the missions, no vehicles, even to do missions only the reserve of the valley of Nez perce appears to me. I'm sorry that happened to your game. I have heard of that happening once before, but I do not know the fix or the result. I always recommend asking in the way of the hunter official discord as the support people are fairly responsive. Good luck 🤞

i like how difficult it is to get a double lung on the cape buffalo, i tried for a few hours lastnight with no success but i had so much fun.. spot and stalk with no callers and no hunter sense is pretty rewarding

It sure can be! They really made them extra tough. They have significantly higher minimum joules

Greetings I play on ps5. Is the option to change the colors or custimize the bow or sights. Every time I raise the bow I have to look at a green donut. Also have you found a way to reduce the opacity to increase the brightness of the hunter sense? Thanks I just found the channel and it is good. The duck is interesting.

I know what you mean with the bright green donut. No it cannot be changed. But I use the other bow and it uses a blue donut that is not so hard on the eyes. And currently there are no hunter sense settings to change its brightness. We are pushing for them to implement something like that though. Welcome to the channel! 😃

i hit a buffalo at 44 meters and it just nicked the 2nd lung with cavity damage so it completed the mission, some how i suspect its a angle thing

Ah ok. Wasn't sure if it needs both lungs knocked out. That mission should be do-able for sure then. It looks to be different amounts of flesh it has to go through being the cause

I do believe you’re right about the angle. I have been hunting nonstop since Map came out and have shot several cape, buffalo with guns and bows and if you don’t have a broadside shot a lot of times you don’t get very good penetration with any weapon including the 338 Lappula magnum, which is ridiculous if you ask me. Especially since the 338 Lappula magnum gets mentioned in the same conversation with a 50 BMG for range and hit energy

@@dadsacyco3852 the thing is people are showing broadside inconsistencies which are notable. The flesh along the side is really curvy so I think even broadsides have trouble if one hits a fat part

Hi i have iisue with bow mission ..... shot male with bow to lung i just shot 2 bulls both with lungshot and mission still not complete it is some sort of bug ? or you guys know sollution ? thanks for any answer

I've had people tell me it requires both lungs to be knocked out, and also people say just one needs to be knocked out with some damage to the second 🤷‍♂️ Take out both lungs just to be on the safe side =)
