I just hate that he's announcing this as his last album. Stop announcing the unknown. The issue is, Bow Wow doesn't know where he fits in today amongst the new era of artists. Yes, he was a big child/teen rapstar with poppin hits under his belt BUT outside of his Greenlight mixtapes, he has barely any major studio albums since 2009. Majority of his recognized catalog is from 13-20 years old. I just feel that he has a lot more left in the tank to give the people as a now more matured adult artist in the game and he's cutting himself short. But it sounds like his heart just isn't in music anymore and he wants bigger executive roles behind the desk like 50 and Diddy which is cool. BUT....I still feel that it's too soon to just say this is his last album being that he hasn't put out a full studio album since 09. He should just put out the album and see what type of response he gets and go from there. Because he might find himself getting back into the music space again.

I still remember hearing "Stick Up" on the Wild Wild West soundtrack. It was him and JD. It was the last track on the album. I had no idea who Lil' Bow Wow was. And then his verse on the Nas/Monica/JD "I've Got To Have It" for Big Momma's House soundtrack which was part of his song "Bounce With Me". He was the best part of the "Where The Party At" Remix. It doesn't matter that he wasn't writing his lyrics. Which one of you would've been able to rap as good as he did while writing your own lyrics at 12 and 13? It's good to see him doing well. People love rooting for the downfall of strangers and making jokes. He's gotten through his rough patch and seems to be a better dude after all of it. There wasn't anything like him before and there hasn't been anything like him since. Others tried but didn't have his talent to rap (not mentioning any names) at a young age. And he could play his first album, nothing else and destroy Soulja Boy in Verzuz.

Yeah...I think it's moreso of him living comfortable within his financial means because he's not touring on a regular like that, even before the Milennium tour. He's not making the same type of money he was back in his hay day as a teen rapper. I'd definitely say that the EP checks coming from GHHATL is his biggest source of income at the moment because it's steady and with him being an EP, I'm sure those checks are very comfortable for him. And he's making more per episode than some people do in a full year. When he was on CSI Cyber (2015-2016), he was in L.A. and he had a big mansion home out there. But once CSI ended, he relocated back to ATL and downsized to a condo. I find nothing wrong with that. But ppl are crazy to think this dude is broke. He's obviously not making the type of money he was back in his hay day as a teen rapper but he seems to still be able to live a very comfortable lifestyle.
