For someone looking into this range and coming from a Series 2, this was an incredibly informative and useful interview. Not sure how much of what was said actually plays out in reality but still very interesting to understand the intent of the different models in the S3 line. Thank you for posting this!

I couldn't help but notice the Rotel gear in the background. The name on the preamp is obscured by a reflection, but it is clearly a Rotel Michi... as are the mono amps seen @ 6:57 in the video. Sound United has owned B&W for years now, but they don't own Rotel. I wonder how the people over at Classe Audio feel about that!

I just got the 702 S3 Signature. I’ve had a lot of B&W but this is by far the best.

It would have been a dream come true to own these, I had the money for them but went with Focal, because Focal is not made china like B & W😔

Taking jobs to China from UK to save money is very poor form.

Not their fault, half of UK doesn't want to work 😛

And still charge outrageous prices. All done to maximize the profit for the shareholders. There is no reason for the high cost of this speakers when they are made in China and the cost to produce there is low.

There is plenty of speakers thats made in china in this price point, the speakers cost is not low because its made in china, and the parts is not that cheap either, the drivers and the tech is built in uk, as long as the speakers sounds good who cares, if it was the 800 series i would understand the complaint, this is to make the speakers as good as they can without the prices to go to insane, if they was all made in uk the price could easily jump another £2000 for the top 702s3. And its clear it can rival other brands in its pricepoint
