I am using an A5, and I have a lot of connectivity problems. The connection is unstable, the sound cuts out. Sometimes from spoty on my ihpone 7, sometimes from the macbook air. Many problems. It slows down my pc, etc. I'm in Peru and the technical service is shit. The company where I bought the A5 several years ago no longer exists. Recommendations plz?

I have had no problem with sound or volume in my bedroom and its a reasonable size. I would save the money and go for the A5

They may be acoustically brilliant, I have owned a pair of 802's for several years, but the wifi setup on the A5 is abysmal and actually very clumsy. I need to reset my A5 speaker several times a day because it loses the wifi signal frequently, which makes for an unenjoyable experience - Whilst I am definitely a B & W fan, Sonos doesn't have this problem.

Nice video. I see you had to disconnect from your home WIFI network to join the A5_Setup network. Does that mean the phone talks to the A5 directly or it goes through the home router? If it's talking to the A5 directly does that mean I cannot surf the Internet when it's connected to the A5? Or that's just part of the setup process? It seems stupid not being able to surf the net on the phone when it's sending audio to the A5 via AirPlay. Thanks.

Hi. For the initial setup you talk directly to the A5. Part of the setup is telling the A5 what your wifi is and its password. Once completed your A5 is then talking to your network (via your router) and will be seen by any airplay device on your network. Hope that help

Great video! Can I ask, what is the point of the Ethernet port on the back of you can connect them to your network wirelessly as you demonstrated? Am I overlooking something?

Airplay functions over a WiFi connection. If the speaker is connected via Ethernet port to your router, you in theory can improve your wireless connection.
