I just saw Bowfinger for the 1st time last night on HBO and my sides are still hurting from laughing. How did I miss this Comic Gem back in 1999. Steve and Eddie are perfect together and Christine Baranski as the "over the top" actress is also hilarious. Heather Graham is always a beautiful plus to any movie. The Crossing the Freeway scene had me literally rolling on the floor with laughter. I suggest taking a "puff" of something tasty and watching this movie.

I watched Bowfinger for the first time recently and I had a ball with it! This movie is so well acted, incredibly well written, and incredibly well directed! Bowfinger is one of the best comedies of all time! Thank you, Steve Martin, for such a great script for such a great film!

Good point, in fact Bowfinger probably wouldn’t even bother with an actual film camera hidden in a van and instead have members of his crew all over the place filming from different angles with their phones. This movie might even be more plausible nowadays.
