BOWHUNTING: Double Deer Morning!!!

October 7, 2012, double deer morning, reducing deer numbers for the landowner and donating to Hunters Helping The Hungry (our 4th donation this fall). Our donations are sponsored by arrowrap.com, helping people in need at local food banks. The smaller doe was for my freezer!
October 13, 2020- This video is educational to those looking to harvest their own food, around the world children can hunt for food, here in the USA, children can start to hunt at 10 years old or younger, check your state laws. During the COVID-19 pandemic, slaughter houses closed and there was a shortage of food at the grocery stores. Luckily, COVID-19 did not stop all food deliveries and food from being harvested, what if it did stop the trucks from getting to the grocery stores, toilet paper would have been the least of your worries, where would you go for food or would you die of starvation... Having skills to harvest your own food could mean survival, did you think about how close it came...

As in the description on this video and at the end of the video with the donation to Hunters Helping The Hungry, families in need were given a meal. Sheeple go to the store for meat where no animals were harmed, so many that comment will believe that! By the way, us Native Americans have been getting our dinner with pointy sticks for a long time, they didn't draw lettuce on the cave walls! And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

Not sure why people are complaining of a slow kill or bad shot, I took a hunter safety course before getting my hunting license and his shots were right on the money. Broadside is idea and aim for the lungs with a possibility of hitting the heart. This is my first year hunting and I enjoy it very much even though I haven't killed anything. The kills in this video appear to me to be exactly where you want to hit the deer to ensure an ethical kill. If you've taken a safety course then you know how much an ethical kill is emphasized. I've done my homework and know the anatomical layout of deer to ensure I'm aiming exactly where I need to be for an ethical kill. I don't think I'll be going back out since rifle season is in and people are running their dogs. Nice video and great shots, thanks for uploading.

All of the comments that this was a slow death and not humane, the deer was dead in under a minute! At the slaughter house where your meat comes from... cows and chickens always die this fast? How about when deer are killed by coyotes or wolves? Check out how long it takes a pack of coyotes to kill a deer and when you educate yourself, then come back and let us know if you think this was a quick ethical kill!

Half of the people raging here needs some education... Living in a cabin and hunting- for food much more nature-friendly then buying beef at the store. The beef you are consuming lived in a small cage for only half of its normal life is electric shocked in 400v of electricity and then sleighed with a sharp knife. And then the food has to be packed, transported, washed, and preserved. Huge amounts of Carbon waste, water waste, etc... But a deer you shot directly in the long/heart dies in a matter of seconds... After that the hunter can support his family or himself for a good several months. Deers living in the wild dont need to live in cages. They get a large area where they could do whatever they want... I have great pleasure in the cabin for a few months a year and probably give 5 times less waste/harm to the earth then peoples raging here.

A bow kill is one of the most humane was to harvest a deer. The deer don't feel the arrow like they would a gunshot. A well placed arrow will have a deer down and out in under 30 seconds. Learn what you are talking about before you ramble.

***** Dude really? I realize you were making the comment sarcastically. Ironically enough, you are correct in some instances. Prime example. There WAS an island off the Carolinas that was converted to a game reserve. The guy running the place had a rule, no doe kills. He thought it'd boost the population. They became so over populated that disease wiped out the entire herd on the island. And I promise you, it took longer than a minute. Most of the deer we kill are dead before they even hit the ground. I've taken deer with a bow that never even flinched. 30-40 seconds later they just......laid down. Personally, I'm just exercising the dominion I was given over the animals.

As I understand starvation is one of the most painful ways to die, and without deer hunters a large part of the deer population would face a much more painful death and spread disease.

Such a great video. I subscribed and I actually watched quite a few. I did comment some harsh things back to these useless oxygen wasters who are wasting your time with unnecessary comments so forgive me for some language. I don’t know why people intend on watching stuff they don’t like just to spark stuff up. The shot placements on all your kills are outstanding. I’m a decent shot but I aspire to be half as good of a shot as you with a bow someday. I’m looking forward to purchasing a camera of my own and filming my hunts. Good luck this season. Don’t let this anti hunting snowflakes get the best of you. You’ve got more hunters like me who are with you and have your back than you know! Happy hunting!

The hell with what Ricky the Snowflake says, hunt for food as much as necessary. Don't hunt more than needed and make sure to give thanks to the spirits for providing the meat and especially thank as well as apologize to any animals you bag for taking their life and thank their spirits for providing you the food you'll get from their physical bodies. Purely Native methods
