This is how I push bowing walls back into place with 4 inch wide flange I beams 13 lbs. I use screw jacks pushing against a 2x8 after I install 2 concrete stakes into the concrete. I anchor the top of the beam to the floor joist using 2x8 and 4x4 post using the weight of the house to push against the block wall. I order my beams from a place called ALRO steel. Once the wall was back into place I used rapid set mortar mix to fill all holes on the inside and outside. Outside I then applied foundation tar and a peal and stick membrane. After that attached a dimple board using tap cons at the top of the dimple board. Finally, I back filled the hole. Inside, I added gravel around the beams as well as cut a piece of steel to go in between the beam and the concrete to keep the beam in place until the concrete has dried around the beam. Somehow I deleted some of the video content of this job. Check out this video if you want more info. • Bowed basement walls, ...
I find I get the best results if I excavate on the outside. Thank you for watching
