I love what you do with broken skateboards.. Does seem like alot of work but your finished products are beautiful..

Maybe use the "un-usable/broken" pieces for a future epoxy project. The broken parts would look awesome in a clear cast.

Just wanted to say this. Epoxy resin like a ketchup for DIY projects. Don't know what to do with parts - use resin :)

Great video! I love all your projects so much! You're the king of using broken skateboards! Great work! For the moment I'm only making toys out of broken skateboards, but when I'll have a lathe I'll make some bowls or pens!

HI, from broken pieces you can make great desk table top covered with glass ( glass is upper surface with look through). Stacking pieces, gluing togeter with sharp edges up so it looks like some kind of sound waves - "spectrogram 3D"

Dang bro, absolutely love your stuff, it’s been great to see your channel change and grow. But lately they’ve felt more like 12 minute commercials and less like woodworking videos. I know rockler, squarespace, grizzly, king Aurther, Irwin, and all the others give you money and that’s awesome, but you gotta make it smoother. Just my $0.02 from someone who’s been watching since the wall art and coffee table days. Good luck bro!

Woby Design ouch. If you value your sponsors more than your viewers, the views will go away and with that the sponsors. I truly hope that doesn’t happen and wish the best for you and your business, but my opinion of you has changed. Good luck.
@WobyDesign4 жыл бұрын
Zach McBournie no, it’ll make genuine followers actually be happy for me and entitled followers like you disappear. Thank you and I hope you the best as well!
@ZMAC4414 жыл бұрын
Woby Design entitled? I apologize if I came across that way, not my intent at all. I would consider myself a genuine follower of yours and I am stoked for you, I really am. I just feel like there is a balance between ads and content. Idk what that is specifically, and everything I’ve said is my own opinion and I hope I didn’t display it to be fact, because it’s not. But this video in particular was very very ad heavy with minimal actual content. I’m glad my comment was actually read, but how you handle it is your call obviously, but my hope was to let you know it didn’t go unnoticed by someone who does consider themselves a genuine follower. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that way.

Put the word out you accept broken skateboards. Maybe see if you can arrange it somewhere to have a drop off once a week to collect everyone's boards or some kind of bin set up you can check. Not everyone brings their boards into the skate shop.
