I grew up in North Bend and headed there tomorrow to prep for archery elk starting Saturday. I can literally pinpoint two of the locations. One my daughter and I got on some elk but didn't get a shot...great job!!

He got very lucky, only a few inches of arrow penetration in FRONT of the shoulder. Maybe caught an artery? Must have bled internally, there was no blood to be seen anywhere. The way the elk went stiff legged and tipped over that fast from that shot placement was surprising. Tough hunt and glad it worked out!
