Jesper has really struggled on tv this year. From what it looks like that new urethane carry’s down the oil a lot quicker and forces a quicker change in playing the lane or switching balls altogether. He’s used reactive on tv before but rarely, and I think he should more often with this newer urethane doing that. He’s just not carrying the 7 or 10 as well as he used to with other urethane balls.

I wonder why EJ went straight at the 3-6-9-10. I’m pretty sure that’s the easiest way to chop it.

I've had that Jesper Svensson type of pin carry before. Worst feeling of my life when bowling. It sucks and I'm just tempted to change the score from a 9 count to a strike every time that happens

Everybody talking about Jesper's bad carry, completely ignoring that had he switched to reactive he would have carried most of those frames. Kills me how mentally blocked he is from committing to throwing reactive when he very clearly needs to. He beat himself trying so hard to make that urethane ball work 🤦‍♂️

You can blame the stupid PBA for this one if he was allowed to throw the pitch black he would likely scored higher

He can throw reactive he proved it at the scorpion, but this oil pattern has like almost always been used with urethane, the only reason Tackett wasn’t is that he never throws urethane and motiv’s urethane sucks

@@Ramsfan555 i agree with starting with urethane on this pattern but after all the transition on the left side, he definitely should have been using reactive. He screwed himself

He was able to make it work for a bit on scorpion but he probably should’ve used reactive there as well. It really looks like it forces the transition a lot quicker by carrying the oil down the lane a lot quicker than the purple hammer, pitch black, and other older urethane balls.

@@elr2141979really it was players like Sean Rash whining and complaining about it rather than learning to actually use or it just straight up adjust to it being used in matchplay.

The only time I've seen worse carry is WRW at the 2012 chameleon

***SPOILER WARNING*** That was an absolutely painful match to watch from Jesper Svensson, his execution has been so good but his pin carry wasn't unfortunately on his side.

If only jesper was using reactive he would get better results, better scores (my opinion)
